Selling and giving away rhum cakes on christmas has been a tradition of my husband's family for years. I had my first experience last christmas. It's your no-fuss adult cake for the holidays that comes in pretty, festive boxes. Too much of it and the liquor starts to kick in. I prefer to eat mine with ice cream & coffee to complement its strong flavor.
